  • Roberts's return to the Bulldog program as a junior proved instrumental in Edmond Memorial's record-setting 2024 semi-finalist football campaign.

    With over seven years of tackle football experience within the Bulldog Vertical, he quickly re-established himself as a reliable presence in the secondary.

    Roberts further showcases his athleticism and competitive drive through his participation in EMHS basketball.

    A proud product of Central Middle School, he is committed to pursuing both academics and athletics, planning to study Business and play competitive sports at college after high school. He is enthusiastically cheered on this season by Precious Roberts and Adias Roberts.

  • A strong history of team success alongside significant individual defensive recognition defines AJ Roberts' football career.

    During the 2024 season, he was a pivotal member of the Edmond Memorial Football team, leading to impressive outcomes. These included reaching the OSSAA State Semi-finals, being crowned Oklahoma Class 6A-1 Regional Champions, finishing as District Championship Runners-up, and securing the title of Edmond All-City Champions.

    Individual accolades for Roberts in 2024 were numerous. He earned EMHS OSSAA Quarterfinals Co-Defensive Player of the Game and was also named KREF SPORTS TV Co-Defensive Player of the Game vs. Westmoore. His consistent defensive impact was further highlighted by receiving EMHS Week 6 Defensive Player of the Game and EMHS Week 0 Defensive Player of the Game honors.

    His involvement in successful teams extends back to his youth football days; he was a member of the 4th grade INFC Oklahoma State Championship runners-up team in 2017. Furthermore, his Youth Bulldog team achieved remarkable dominance, winning three consecutive Division Championships by dominating during three undefeated seasons.
