  • Luke Thionnet, a dual-threat player and versatile athlete, was a significant contributor to Edmond Memorial's historic 2024 semi-finalist football season.

    Thionnet enters his fourth year with Bulldog Football, bringing seven years of competitive experience within the Edmond Bulldog Vertical. His ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball shines through his play as a Defensive Back and Tight End.

    Beyond the gridiron, Thionnet's athleticism is further honed through his participation in basketball and track at Memorial.

    A proud product of Central Middle School, he is currently exploring his options for after high school. He is enthusiastically cheered on this season by Jeff and Mary Thionnet.

  • A career marked by significant team achievements and notable individual recognitions, particularly on the offensive and defensive lines, describes Luke Thionnet's high school football journey.

    During the 2024 season, he made a crucial impact on the Edmond Memorial Football team's impressive success. These included reaching the OSSAA State Semi-finals, being crowned Oklahoma Class 6A-1 Regional Champions, finishing as District Championship Runners-up, and securing the title of Edmond All-City Champions.

    Individual accolades for Thionnet in 2024 include being named EMHS OSSAA Quarterfinals "Trench" Player of the Game. His offensive impact was also recognized with EMHS Week 6 Offensive Player of the Game and EMHS Week 4 Offensive Player of the Game.

    His history of contributing to winning teams extends to his freshman year; in 2022, he was a member of the COAC Conference 9th Grade Championship team and, impressively, was named KREF Co-defensive Player of the Game for his performance in that Championship game.
